Creston Park Playground is a beautifully forested playground with shade to play on the swings, go down the slide, or climb the big red rope dome.

Creston Park's official address is on SE Powell Boulevard and that is Highway 26, so you will not be able to park there. Park on SE Francis Street in the cute little neighborhood to enter the playground area. It is only a short distance on a paved trail. It's less than 100 yards and a straight, flat shot to the playground, so I could easily see my older kids run toward the play area while I got my toddler out of her car seat. There are two ADA swings next to each other, as well as infant/toddler swings and big kid swings. I love being able to push all three of my kids on the swing simultaneously! So, Creston Park Playground is great because there are plenty of swings. There is a fun rubber hill to climb with big orange rubber bubble balls on it and then you can go down the metal slide. The big red climbing dome with lots of ropes is the focal point of the playground. I've got a couple of climbers in my two older kids and my middle one loves the swings more than anything at a playground. So, this is a wonderful park for both of those. I really enjoyed watching my three kids go down the big metal slide together. It was really sweet. You can really fly down some of those metal slides! Enjoy a picnic in the shady grass area surrounded by the beautiful forest after your play time or you're only a few miles from OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) if you want to head indoors on a hot day or on one of the many rainy days we get here in Portland.
