Dancing Dragonfly Winery, located on the outskirts of St. Croix Falls, is a great stop when you are in the area.

The location of this winery is definitely off the beaten path. As soon as you head down the gravel roads, you may wonder where you will end up. However, as soon as you turn the corner and see the gorgeous building in the middle of all the vineyards, you will be amazed.

The winery building is huge, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. If you visit during warmer months, you MUST sit outside and enjoy the beauty. My kids enjoyed sitting outside and sharing the food with us. Each of them brought a couple of activities to keep them occupied while we enjoyed a glass of wine. The winery is currently reservations only, but check the website for changes. They offer a wide selection of beverages besides wine for those who aren't wine fans such as beer, water, and soda.

The food menu here is absolutely fantastic and I highly suggest sharing a few things because the portions aren't super big and then you can try a variety of items. All of the employees here are wonderful and can answer any questions you may have or suggest types of wine that you will enjoy. They are very attentive but not overly pushy about what to try. Most, but not all wines are made with the grapes that they grow right on-site and you can see from the patio. You can order a single glass or a flight. If it is your first visit, I highly suggest a flight.

After a visit here, head over to Fawn Doe Rosa and enjoy walking around and seeing the wildlife.
