Green Lake Park features a unique playground by the water with plenty to explore!

This playground is just across the parking lot from Green Lake which makes it a great place to visit for all ages. It features a large sand circle with play canoes, sand toys, and splash features in the summer months. There is a separate section for the toddler play structure and baby swings to ensure they have a space to play safely. Another wood chip area holds big kid and rocket ship swings as well. The structure for older kids features slides, swirly ladders, monkey bars, bridges, and other unique toys to explore. All of the toy structure areas have a wood chip floor but encircling them is a paved loop that is great for stroller walking and scootering. Plenty of park benches line the perimeter to rest up while keeping an eye on the kids. There is plenty of green space which makes this a perfect place to get active by simply bringing along a soccer ball, football, wiffle ball set, or yoga mat. There is a large parking lot on site.

This playground borders a baseball diamond and the activities for Green Lake, which offers swimming and boating options. There are tennis and pickleball courts on another side of the parking lot which are great for a family doubles tournament. There are plenty of food and coffee options within walking distance in case you need to grab something to keep your energy up. This is a fun place to explore the outdoors in Seattle!
