Mugshots Coffee Company is a hip, fun stop for delicious eats and coffee.

Mugshots is a great little stop when out and about with your family in the Twin Cities. The location can hardly be beat, as it's located in the busy Tier 1 suburb of Bloomington, Minnesota. Located not only super close to the international airport, but also to all sorts of parks, trails, and playgrounds, this location is excellent for fun-loving families. Location definitely matters, when it comes to busy families on the go. From Mugshots, we can easily hop on a gorgeous loop bike trail around the lake in the warmer months or head just down the road a few miles to one of the city's most beautiful nature centers. Not to mention, a great ski hill in the winter.

Mugshots was a fun stop for our family. The kids thought this bustling, happening spot was exciting, and the food was awesome, too. I liked that they had inventive and exciting coffee flavors, with specials including a Gingersnap Latte and Peppermint Mocha. I do have my favorites, of course, but it's always fun to walk into a new coffee shop and feel excited by a different drink. We also tried out the scones at Mugshots, and they were amazing! They were made with rich, hearty ingredients like rolled oats, so I thought they'd taste a bit too healthy for the kids to enjoy, but they loved them! It was a surprisingly hearty snack that really fueled our adventures for the day.

I highly recommend a stop at Mugshots Coffee Co. After heading here for a snack and a coffee or cocoa, pop down the road to the gorgeous Normandale Lake Loop for some walking or biking.
