Bloomington's first and only brewery, Nine Mile Brewing Company, opened in the winter of 2022 and is a huge hit!

Not only is this place popular with adults and families but with our four-legged furry friends as well. The taproom is massive, probably one of the biggest in the Twin Cities metro, they said it holds 440 guests. I absolutely love the amount of seating because we live in the suburbs and I hate driving into the city or a nearby suburb and not having seating, especially with kids in tow. Most breweries are places that people camp out and relax and aren't done in an hour, so having all this seating is a huge plus for us.

Inside, the brewery has booths, tables and chairs, and a few couch areas with comfortable seating. The middle of the room contains a huge area with board games for all ages, more than I've ever seen at a brewery before - such a great family-friendly touch. Some of the table and chair sets have game boards designed right in, a super cool feature.

They currently don't serve food but have big plans for 2022 and hope to have food added to the menu soon. They do offer some local snacks for purchase. 

They have a variety of types of beers here. Lights, darks, IPA's, seltzers. Everyone can easily find something they like here. Lastly, this place is super dog-friendly. They have water dishes for all the pups, how cute is that? And near the exit, there are dog bags for you to take your dog out to the bathroom. They have thought of everything when designing a family-friendly and dog-friendly brewery.
