Cool down on a hot day at Scoop RVA!

SCOOP RVA is the perfect place to go on a hot, summer day. The ice cream at Scoop is made fresh daily. It smells so incredibly good as soon as you enter the store! If you are not an ice cream person, you may enjoy the macarons that they also sell. Some favorites are the confetti and the creme brulee flavors. There are vegan and gluten-free options and non-dairy options like sorbet, making this an allergy-friendly treat shop. For a special birthday occasion, you can order a yummy ice cream cake! I recommend signing up for the rewards punch card to earn free ice cream after ten purchases. You can sign up for this at the register, and it is completely free.

There is a very small amount of outdoor seating under a canopy. If the shop isn't busy, you can sit here, but it isn't a guarantee, so if there is no outdoor seating available directly outside, we like to walk a couple of blocks to Scuffletown Park and enjoy our ice cream at the picnic tables there. Scuffletown Park also has community gardens, and is an all-around lovely place to relax and enjoy your cold treat! Because parking is limited to the street only, we often park at Fox Elementary, play at the playground there first, and then head to SCOOP on foot! It is a short walk, entirely on sidewalks. Fox Elementary has a huge, fenced playground, ball pit, climbing web, and large field.
