SEA LIFE provides an underwater adventure that the whole family will enjoy. 

Located inside the Mall of America, the aquarium is perfect for spending the morning or afternoon. They have family-friendly exhibits to easily see all the sea creatures. You begin by going into the pretend submarine and meet the SEA LIFE creatures with a short movie. You enter the aquarium at this point. There is a touch pool where you can touch shrimp, crabs, and sea stars. Be brave and step into a 2.5-story rainforest with a 360-degree pop-tank to get close to 1,000 fly cockroaches. There are seahorses, jellyfish, corals, colorful fish, and so much more to see during your visit. The staff offer daily talks and animal feeds in the different areas of the aquarium.

Near the end is the largest tank with a 300-foot-long underwater tunnel. They have sharks, a sea turtle, stingrays, and many varieties of fish. They have behind-the-scenes tours to get a closer look at how these animals are taken care of. There is a playground at the end that children love to run and play on. During different holidays, SEA LIFE is decorated with lights for Christmas, and a trick-or-treat theme for Halloween. 

This is a relatively small aquarium, so some families can breeze through quickly depending on the attention spans of their children. The average family spends around two hours in the aquarium. The purchase of the ticket is for the day, so you can go shopping in the mall and come back through the aquarium. If you plan to come several times in the year, I would recommend buying a season pass. They also have exclusive members-only events. Buying tickets online saves you time and money. The aquarium is stroller-friendly, and they ask that you not eat inside.
