outdoor-adventures, water-activities

Sister Cities is home to a beautiful splash pad and wading pool filled with adventure and city skylines.

Sister Cites Park has located on 18th St & the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, nestled in the heart of the museum district and within walking distance to Rittenhouse Park and shopping.

Sister Cities Park is a picturesque patch of green in the heart of Philadelphia’s notable arts and cultural district. Enjoy panoramic views of skyscrapers, historic cathedrals and museums, while watching your children enjoy the 10 spout geyser splash pad. Also in the park is a wading pool for your kids to splash in and make new friends. Surrounding the pool is a winding mini hiking path with a small water stream that leads to the top with an additional water spout, ropes course and butterfly garden.

Sister Cities Park has an awesome cafe on site serving delicious grab-and-go salad, sandwiches and wraps from Brulee Catering. The cafe has tons of kid-friendly options, as well as a coffee bar featuring La Colombe Coffees.

The lawn is tree-lined with lots of shade and Adirondack chairs for enjoying your lunch or the views.

Bring a few water toys to play with in the pool, water shoes to run back and forth between the splash pad to the pool and a picnic blanket if you wish to sit on the lawn for a lunch.

Be sure to check the website for the events calendar. During the summer there are free music and dance classes for small kids and live music in the evenings.
