The Authentic Farm Winery Experience awaits at The Winery at Bull Run.

The Winery at Bull Run is the closest winery to Washington D.C. This is also easily one of our favorite wineries are the area. It is rich in history, the views are beautiful and the wine is great. The winery spans over 21-acres, is family-friendly, has food options, lots of parking and restrooms.

The Winery at Bull Run offers something for everyone. They have a great area for families with picnic tables, umbrellas, white lights at night and lots of green space for the kids to run.

If you are having a kid-free day check out the over 21 area. The views are incredible and it is much quieter on this side. There is also lots of shade, white lights at night and picnic tables with umbrellas.

The winery allows you to bring your own food and snacks but you are not allowed to bring in any drinks, everything must be purchased there. Make sure to pack a picnic lunch or enjoy their rotating food trucks and food offerings Friday through Sunday. We have never been disappointed!

A few additional perks to the winery the have live music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday year-round in addition to a number of fun events including movie night under the stars, historical tours, painting classes, wine pairing dinners and much more.

Bull Run Regional Park and Playground and Manassas Battlefield are close by. We love going for a family hike and ending the day at the winery. Everyone always has a blast and the kids love checking out the latest food truck and listening and dancing to the live music.
