Right in the action of downtown Boise stands one of our oldest brewpubs, churning out award-winning beers and delicious pub grub. This 10 Barrel Brewhouse and it's hop-king head brewer Shawn Kelso make this brewpub the hoppiest place in Idaho and a hub for all your pre-game warm-ups, post-adventure hunger, and quaffing needs.

Our family loves to come to 10 Barrel for a relaxing fun time with the whole family. Some of our favorite things to order are the famous Steak "Not Just" Nachos. They are so incredible and come as a huge portion to share with the whole family. The crispy Brussel sprouts, homemade pizzas and the beer-battered Fish and Chips are additional favorites for our family. The kids get some fun crayons and puzzles to keep them entertained and the beer barrels always are a favorite to look at for my kiddos. Also you can get the beer tasting menu with your spouse. It's fun and a great way to taste lots of options.

After enjoying your awesome lunch and some local beers, Downtown Boise has many local shops, boutiques and great sites to see. One of my favorite places to check out close by is Boise Freak Alley. Freak Alley is a venue for public art in the form of murals and graffiti located in and adjacent to a service alley in downtown Boise, Idaho. The largest outdoor gallery in the Northwest, and a Boise institution since 2002, it began with a painting of a single alley doorway and now extends from the alley itself to a gravel parking lot. It's a must-see in Boise!

Molly Raymond was born and raised in sunny San Diego, Ca but decided to uproot her family and move to Boise, Idaho in 2018. Idaho has been such a great experience for her and her husband Jason and their two young children since they love the outdoors and nature. She has been working for GoGo SqueeZ as the Community Marketing Manager for over 3 years while staying home to take care of her kiddos. Some of their favorite things to do in Idaho are hiking, camping, boating and most of all find hidden Hot Springs around Idaho. One of Molly’s passions is to teach her children to clean up litter so they can learn to protect and take care of the environment.
