2 Amys is a pizzeria with a lovely Italian feel and kind, accommodating staff.

2 Amy's is a woodfired Neapolitan pizza restaurant with a family feel and ridiculously good pizza with that authentic, slightly charred taste. Despite this, the 2 Amy's menu is approachable and not snooty, and pizza lovers (what kid isn't) will love this amazing spot.

A kid-friendly staple in DC, I have been taking my extended family there for years (even pre-kids, and now that I've moved it's one of my first stops when returning to DC for visits). It feels like going to Italy and the ambiance works in every way.

They have really interesting gourmet options on the menu, and they also have simple cheese pizza for kids. 2 Amy's is loud (in a relaxing way) and you will almost always find other families enjoying a night out in this non-judgment zone. The salads are really good too and I love a good charcuterie option (which they do so well).

Crayons and paper are provided - simple but always very hospitable to the family crowd.

They don't take reservations so plan ahead to arrive on the early side or be ready for a wait. This place gets crowded, especially on weekends, and when Hebrew School lets out!

Macomb Park Playground and Newark Park Playground are very closeby, and Beauvoir School Elementary School Playground is across Wisconsin so the kids can play while you wait or you can grab ice cream across the street at Jetties after lunch or dinner and make your way to the playground then.
