Discover the Playground at 35th and T Street in Northwest, Washington, DC!

We love this sweet neighborhood playground, tucked behind Hardy Middle School. It is more closely identified as a "tot lot" and it is fenced in with a sandbox and a playset for babies, toddlers and little kids. There is a twisting slide, a tube slide and even a very small one on the baby playset. Many families have left toys behind for the local littles to enjoy. There is a small set of swings with a baby swing as well as a regular swing, as well as a nice shaded area for a picnic, nursing a baby or a break from the sun. Its location close to Georgetown is super convenient and even though there are bigger and maybe more exciting parks nearby, this one is great for a short visit!  It's also often on the quieter side than many of the larger playgrounds if the baby needs to nap while a little one plays.

The playground is located in the Burleith neighborhood, which is mostly residential but conveniently located a short walk from shops. Starbucks is about a block away for caffeine or a kiddo treat. We love their protein boxes for a small lunch or a snack and of course, the cake pops are a fan favorite. One of our top spots, Patisserie Poupon, is also just down the street and always worth a visit if you're looking for something more substantial to eat. They have great pastries or if you're in the mood for a full meal, indulge in an omelet on the weekends.

The address of the playground is 1800 35th Street NW, Washington, DC 20007
