Abbott's Frozen Custard has a Northern Virginia location

A chain that began as a small stand in Rochester, New York, Abbott's has been in the ice cream making business for over a century. WIth milk from healthy and happy, all-naturally fed cows and only fresh, wholesome ingredients, the secret recipe is hand-delivered to all Abbott's stands in refrigerated trucks, which is why the motto is "Made Fresh Just For You!" 

The atmosphere has an old-fashioned feel to it, which is perfectly appropriate, and we were told the black raspberry flavor is "legendary." In addition to the signature flavors, there are daily flavors made fresh all day long. Every shop offers cones, cups, milkshakes, flurries, floats, sundaes, cakes, and pies or just bring home a pint. Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum is a fun adventure just five minutes away.
