This park has two age appropriate playgrounds, handicap friendly swings and entire park accessibility, a skate park, sand for digging and a large grass area. Each of the shaded play areas boasts modern structures that will keep your little ones giggling and entertained. Climbing areas, balance beam, tic tac toe game, learning brail and more. If your kids like to skateboard make sure to bring a board or two along, the skate park is one of the best in North County. This spot has a large parking lot and restrooms.

In the same complex is an impressive aquatic area, for a small fee you can enjoy a fun splash pad and swimming area along with lap lanes if you're feeling athletic - challenge someone to a 25 meter race, winner buys ice-cream at the Yogurt Shack down the street after! For some good food, hop in the car for a quick 5 minute drive to some Carlsbad hotspots. Some nearby local favorites are Tinleaf, Beach Plum and Ignite Bistro.
