Located in Scottsdale, right off the 101, the Arizona Boardwalk is your one-stop-shop for family entertainment. There are eight marquee attractions which include OdySea Aquarium, Butterfly Wonderland, Titanic: The Artifact Exhibit, Pangaea Land of the Dinosaurs, Surprise Your Eyes, Laser + Mirror Maze, VR Extreme, and Polar Play Ice Bar.
The OdySea Aquarium is the largest aquarium in the southwest with a full viewing of underwater creatures. The Butterfly Wonderland is the largest indoor butterfly conservatory in America and has several attractions inside. You won't believe your eyes when you visit the Ripley's Belive It or Not attraction. With some unique objects, artifacts, and exhibits, there are wonders around every corner. Find your way around in the Laser + Mirror Maze. Twist, duck, and crawl your way through the web of lasers without being zapped. Its a challenge the whole family can enjoy.
The Surprise Your Eyes is an illusion of the mind. Take pictures with trick art creations and fool everyone with your portraits. Dinosaur fans will love the Pangaea Land of the Dinosaurs. Walk through a indoor interactive exhibit and see over 50 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs that come to life. A gamers' favorite is the VR Extreme. There are 24 virtual reality immersive experiences from a rollercoaster ride to driving, to competitive socializing. Lastly is Johnny's Playground which has multiple inflatables, bounce houses, climbing structures, and a space for the littlest in the family to enjoy. This is a great spot to burn energy on a rainy day.
Along with all of this there are several restaurants including Frozen Penguin Ice Cream, Johnny Rockets, Pagaea Grill, and Sugar Drop Candy Shop and shops. The district hosts numerous events throughout the year including Art on the Boardwalk, the Great Egg Hunt, Winterfest, Conservation Expo, Adventure Festival, Valentines Festival, Petpalooza, and many more. There is something to do here all year long.
