Portland's Tap and Table is Cozy and Kid-Friendly with an Impressive Array of Drinks for Adults

Tap and Table is a fantastic kid friendly restaurant that boasts delicious food, happy hour, cocktails and rotating beer and cider on tap. The outdoor seating (with heated lamps for the winter), neighborhood pub style interior and friendly staff make this place a cozy destination to gather with friends and family.

The menu has a little bit of everything - burgers, sandwiches, salads, entrees and delicious sharing plates for the adults and mac n’ cheese, veggie sticks, grilled cheese and chicken strips for the kiddos. There are several vegetarian options as well. Happy hour is a generous 2-6pm and includes a variety of bites ranging from burgers to salads. If brunch is your thing, Tap and Table has a pretty stellar brunch menu as well.

If the kids get squirmy, send them over to the kid’s play corner and let them explore the wooden blocks, play kitchen, kid-friendly dart board, chalkboard, books, puzzles and various other interesting toys. The layout is pretty open, so it’s easy to keep an eye on kids while they play.

Tap and Table is located in the growing Northwest District of Portland. There is typically ample hourly street parking within a block or two of the restaurant. There are other restaurants nearby, including an ice cream and frozen yogurt shop for dessert, both within a block of Tap and Table. The restrooms are roomy and include a changing table.
