Explore this Amazing Bass Pro Shop that Offers Something for Everyone!

You may have been to a Bass Pro shop before, but you’ve probably never been to one like the one in downtown Memphis.  It’s noticeable from the skyline as you are driving into downtown / the convention area / the Pinch district.  We heard it’s the 3rd largest pyramid in the world.  Can’t say we are big Bass pro connoisseurs or shoppers but this one is worth going to, even if you aren’t as well. 

It touts:

Huge indoor aquarium areas: includes several species of native Mississippi fish. There’s even a live interaction daily from 10-3, including fish feeding and informational demonstrations by the staff. Feeding times subject to change based on fish needs.

• Monday – Thursday: One-Hour Lane Rental | $32 per lane; Half-Hour Lane Rental | $16 per lane
• Friday – Sunday: One-Hour Lane Rental | $37 per lane
• Reservations: First come, first served

The Lookout at the Pyramid

Skyride to the top of the Pyramid which is the country’s tallest free-standing elevator and journeys 300 feet in the air to take in the sights of Memphis.  It’s complimentary for Big Cypress guests; otherwise, Adults $10; Children (4-12) Before 4:00 PM $5; Children (4-12) After 4:00 PM $10.  It takes you to the Glass Observation Deck.  Note: there can be long lines on weekends!

Ducks Unlimited Waterfowling Heritage Center: an educational museum specializing in the history of waterfowling and wetlands conservation. There’s information about wildlife along the Mississippi and important conservation. You’ll see decoys and taxidermy, calls and sporting art.

If that’s not enough, there’s even a hotel and spa onsite!
