Take me out to a Blue Wahoo game! And cheer on our Pensacola baseball team!

Spend an evening or afternoon in one of the greatest minor league baseball fields with a gorgeous view of the Pensacola Bay. This stadium includes 5,038 seats and I don't think one of them will give you a bad view of the game. Since it is a small stadium, we have an advantage for game viewing. We've sat near each baseline throughout the years and have enjoyed the seating placement each time. There's even a lawn space just outside the outfield where families can bring blankets and enjoy the view looking on to the game from the outer back edge.

There are so many fun family-friendly activities going on during the game. Find Kazoo, the team mascot and get a photo, run across the field with other kids and chase a large costumed cockroach at half-time, jump in a bounce house, or just enjoy one of the many fast food restaurants that are anything but ordinary fast food. The Blue Wahoo Stadium has some of the best food options for a ball park! And each restaurant offers different options such as burgers, chicken, seafood, tacos, and of course it wouldn't be a baseball game without a hot dog!

There are also special themed games throughout the season: Family Sundays are an afternoon game and kids get to fun the bases after the game and can play catch in the outfield. Military Appreciation Sunday where military families receive a discount. One-Price Wednesdays include dinner and a show for just $17. Fun Fridays be sure to arrive early to receive a special gift upon entry. Other special nights throughout the season are: Teacher Appreciation Night, Navy Baseball Night, Hurricane Prep Night, Bucket Hat Giveaway Night, Mullet Thursdays, Fat Tuesdays, Fishing Rodeo Kick-Off Party, Downtown Dave Bobblehead Night, Dress Like a Dad Night, Juneteenth Celebration, Hawaiian Shirt Giveaway, Mardi Gras in July, Sue Straugh Bobblehead Night, Marvel's Defenders of the Diamond Night, Team Photo Giveaway, Beach Towel Giveaway, Latin Amerian Heritage Night, The Pet Gala - Bark in the Park (bring your dog to a game), Backpack Giveaway, Derrick Brooks Bobblehead Night, Watsone & Watson Bobblehead Night, 10th Season Celebration Weekend, and of course FIREWORK SATURDAYS!!!!

As of 2022, the Blue Wahoos have been in Pensacola for 10 years as a Double-A baseball team. In 2002. The Blue Wahoo Stadium was officially named Admiral Fetterman Field in honor of the late Admiral Jack Fetterman, a key contributor to the creation of the Community Maritime Park which is just behind the stadium. This park also has concerts on the lawn which are really fun too!

Each Saturday night at home games, there is a spectacular fireworks show included in your ticket price. Be sure to stay after the game to watch this impressive fireworks show whether win or lose. We LOVE the fireworks at the Blue Wahoo Stadium with the reflection over the Pensacola Bay waters.

If you can't get enough of the Blude Wahoo stadium, check out the special events schedule for "movies at the stadium" where you can enjoy a family-friendly movie for just $5 a person on their big screen. Bring your blankets and snacks and hang out on the green field for family fun! Follow Blue Wahoo on Facebook for special events or check out their website.

There is also Seventh Inning Ballpark Stretch Yoga on Sunday mornings April - June at 9AM. Cost is $12 and is hosted by Disko Lemonade.

Did you know that you can airbnb the Blue Wahoo Ballpark Stadium?? If you book the ballpark, you get full access to the field, batting cages, and clubhouse with comfortable lodging for 10. Bucket list! This would be so cool for a birthday party or just a large family get together.
