The Bushmaster Park has so much to offer: ramadas, a basketball court, volleyball court, tennis courts, and a skate park.

With almost something for everyone and large mature trees producing lots of shade, Bushmaster Park is a perfect spot to spend an afternoon. The park has two sides, so be sure to explore all of it when you are there! 

It is one of the largest parks with two playground areas. We love being able to change it up a little each visit by heading to a different playground with the kids. One has been recently renovated with colorful equipment, including a fantastic zip-line swing. The kids are actually seated with a latch that comes down over them. They then can be pushed along the zip line! The newer playground uses the suspended playground technology and is a lot of fun for the kids to get through the obstacle course-like structures! The older playground has more traditional playground equipment with slides and swings! It is the perfect combination of equipment between the two of them. 

The skate park is located between the newer playground and the two tennis courts and is a lot of fun for the older kids. The park also has two basketball courts, a volleyball court, and horseshoes!

There is also a fenced-in dog park with cute "playground" equipment for the dogs to play on (Dogs want to have fun on playgrounds, too!). The entire park is very dog-friendly, but it is nice to have a specific and safe spot to take your fur babies. 

There is a great paved path that takes you through all of the different parts of the park. Grab a jogging stroller and your little one, and enjoy a peaceful run through it!
