A colorful, clean, indoor space for little ones to explore safely in Northern Virginia.

If you're looking for a clean, eclectic, active, modern, and fun space for your kids, ages 1-5, to play in, bring them to BusyBees!  There are several locations around Washington DC.  Filled with soft climbing structures, swings, and creative features for kids to enjoy solo or with friends, BusyBees makes for the perfect playdate spot.  They'll meet other children, get active, and have fun, all while you enjoy playing with them, or watching from the other side of the barrier.  There is also WiFi in case you need to get some work done while you supervise from the sidelines.  The area is small and fenced in so it's easy to keep eyes on everyone.  Wear socks or purchase them at the front desk for a small fee.

Themed parties are also available on the weekends at a cost.  Check here for details.

Restrooms are available on-site with available changing tables and step stools at the sinks for little ones.

Chik-Fil-A is a few doors down if you want to grab lunch or a snack before or after playtime. Snacks and beverages are permitted, but only outside of the play area where there are fun hanging chairs and other seating options.

Emily Coleman
Emily Coleman is a Jersey girl born and raised who caught the outdoor bug upon moving to Vermont to pursue a degree in Adventure Education and Environmental Studies from Green Mountain College. She spent most of her years before college deeply entrenched in the world of competitive cheerleading before discovering a passion for outdoor sports including mountain biking, white water kayaking, bikepacking, backpacking, slacklining, rock climbing, and skiing. Having been surrounded by children her entire life in her mother's daycare, she always had a strong affinity for kids. She moved to the mountains of Jackson Hole after graduating to coach for the local Kayak Club during the summers and nanny in the winters. Becoming a part of the Happy Active Family team felt like the perfect collision of her passion for building strong community bonds and encouraging an outdoor lifestyle.
