Come spend a day by the lake.

Only 45 minutes away from Charlotte, Cane Creek offers playgrounds, lake swimming, hiking, and more for the day. For a small fee, visitors can enjoy these activities year-round: fishing, boating, hiking, picnic areas, canoe and rowboat rentals, ball fields, playgrounds, disc golf, mountain bike and horse trails. Fishing licenses can be purchased on-site. In the summer season (Memorial Day weekend - Labor Day weekend) activities such as swimming, pedal boats, and miniature golf will be open.

If you want more you can stay and play for the week or weekend there are campsites with water and electric hookups (some with full hookups including sewer). Across the lake from the day-use side of the park, the campground has 108 sites, two playgrounds, lake swimming, mini-golf, camp store, and bathhouses. This is a great campground throughout the year but in the summer the lake is open and gives you a place to splash and cool off from the heat. The loop of the grounds is paved so it’s perfect for bike riding. There is hiking right from the grounds if you are ready for an adventure. This campground has plenty for the kids to do and will have them worn out by the end of the evening. In the past there have been special events such as star gazing. A local stargazing club came out to view the sky with some awesome telescopes.

Come for the day or stay a weekend, this place is a fun getaway.
