The Carolina Beach Boardwalk is a fun family scene in the summertime. You'll find amusement rides, live music and fireworks throughout the summer. Sweet treats are a must and lots of fun family-friendly restaurants to choose from.
Music & Festivals: Live music starts at 6:30p every Thursday in the summer and fireworks launch at 9p. In June, the Carolina Beach Music Festival is super fun and it's the biggest music festival at the beach on the NC coast. The Carolina Beach Street Arts Festival is every May. The Port City Rib Fest is every September. Annual off-season events that include Boardwalk activities are Christmas by the Sea and the Island of Lights Festival.
