A Fun Park with a Unique and Shaded Playground, Picnic Ramadas, Sand Volleyball Court, and Multi-Purpose Fields.

Cashman Park is in North Phoenix and a popular spot for the locals. The playground is a ton of fun for the kids as it has a few different amenities that aren't always at other parks. A large net pyramid is one of them, that the kids love to climb up! Fair warning: it does go a little high, so just be ready to climb up if the younger ones need help getting down! (My youngest always does on these sort of structures!) There is also a short ninja-obstacle course that is fun with wobbly stepping stones and a climbing bridge that looks like a giant DNA strand!

Next to the playground are covered picnic tables (so bring a picnic lunch!) and a large grassy area for anyone looking to play a pick-up game or just run around. There is no enclosed dog park area, but the green space is large and perfect to let the dogs run around on as well. Around the park is a paved path that is great for kids to bring their bikes or scooters (or for a nice solo jog!). There are also two sand volleyball courts and two basketball courts that are open to play on as well, so be sure to bring any sports equipment the kids need.

There is a parking lot within the park, but there aren't a lot of spots, so plan to go early on weekends if you want to be sure to get a spot!
