Causeway Gourmet is at the foot of the OIB bridge and has the best gourmet food, yet casual and family-friendly environment. We tend to get gourmet soups, salads, sandwiches and desserts in the cafe. You can dine in, get take-out and they have delivery after 5p. Delivery is a great option if you have your big family reunion and you don't feel like cooking. This will be the best dinner of the beach week!
Lunch menu items include flatbreads, spiced boiled shrimp, salmon power salad, Sonoma chicken salad with wine vinaigrette, gourmet wraps, the best chicken salad ever, hot sandwiches - basically everything is incredible. Dinner menu items include the best shrimp n grits you'll ever have, sauteed local flounder, crab cakes - again, everything is so good! They serve beer and wine too.
All desserts are homemade and feature Kahlua Toffee Mousse cake (highly recommend), peanut butter brownie pie, fudgy layer cake (also highly recommend) to name a few. We hit Causeway Gourmet multiple times on our OIB beach trip!
