The tagline for this outing is “Much More Than Marionettes!”

Founded by Kermit (Yes, the Frog) and his loving creator, Jim Henson, you know this is the real deal when it comes to the art of puppetry!  Nowhere else in the world can you view Jim Henson’s elaborate collection of his most iconic characters from The Muppet Show and Sesame Street.  Learn about the inspiration, life and legacy of this true American talent. Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Oscar the Grouch, Bert and Ernie; they are all ready to meet and greet!  Education and enlightenment abound. Everything from Special Film Screenings, Junior Script Writing Workshops, and Behind-the-Scenes Production Tours are available. Known for elaborate puppetry shows, the Center routinely presents an exciting assortment of family favorites.  Everything from Pete the Cat, to classics such as Beauty and the Beast and The Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow. Whatever you do, do not miss the holiday performance of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, it’s an Atlanta Christmas tradition! Check out several free museum Saturdays throughout the year if you are a Fulton County resident.  Also going on throughout 2019, in conjunction with Georgia Public Libraries' Passport to Puppetry program at select libraries throughout the state, there are additional free museum admissions and special show and workshop discounts for your entire party.

This activity is sure to put a smile on your little ones faces and will give them an experience that won't be soon forgotten!
