Enjoy a gorgeous Kentucky afternoon with ice cream, food, and a fantastic playground!

Chaney's Dairy Barn is a treat for multiple reasons!  It's got a great playground, fantastic ice cream, and makes for a great lunch or dinner spot if you are in the area.  

We ordered food, took a 'buzzer', and then headed straight to the playground.  Our kids played before and after getting their food.  The playground is great for both older (tall slides!) and younger (accessible equipment).  On the side closest to the restaurant, there are two large black tube slides that are quite high/steep and fun!  The main part of the playground is bright and red and has a few sections for everyone.  The jumping pillow looks awesome on the website but was closed at the time of writing (3/2021).  It does require an extra charge.  There is also a huge grassy area to run around.  And if you want to eat outside, there are plenty of rocking chairs and/or park benches.

Apparently, there are self-guided farm tours available for individuals and small groups during normal business hours without a reservation until 5 PM. These are the only on-demand tours offered.  You can see the Lely Astronaut Robotic Milker in action!  $4/person (does not include wagon ride, ice cream or jumping pillow).

There are also group farm tours starting 4/2021.  AND you can book birthday parties at the farm.

We came here after visiting Dinosaur World.  It would also be a great stop after visiting Mammoth Caves.
