This park is located in the metropolitan area of Charlotte, NC. This would be a nice endpoint to play on the playground if you are biking or scootering along the Sugar Creek Greenway. Cherry Park is just 2 blocks away from the greenway. Cherry Park has 2 acres full of a multipurpose grass field including a softball field. Additionally, there is a full-court basketball court. There are two playgrounds: one suited for younger kids and one suited for older kids. The playground for older kids has monkey bars, climbing equipment, and swings. The playground for younger kids has slides that are enclosed and closer to the ground. There are multiple picnic tables and benches so you can bring along a snack and enjoy a break. Parking is street parking, but should have plenty of room!
