A fun-filled adventure in New Hope for creative little minds!

The Children's Museum of Bucks County is located in the quaint town of New Hope PA on the Delaware River.  There is a mini-medical center where kids can drive an ambulance, watch their heartbeat and perform an operation. In another distinct area, they can design and race a racecar and test a magnetic maze with balls.  Little train lovers will enjoy taking a ride on the BCCM and cooking in the train's galley. This is my grandson's favorite activity at the museum. The general store's shelves need to be stocked, the ice cream stand needs to be manned and the mail in the post office sorted. There is certainly lots to do for your busy child.

Dress-up clothes are available in the gazebo, so little ones can get into character and let their imaginations run free as they explore this wonderful spot. The Big Dig offers a chance for the young archeologist to excavate and learn about fossils. Cross the bridge into the Cardboard Clubhouse to play on recycled instruments and create dynamic art on the giant lite-brite!  You can continue on your journey to climb cliffs and take time to clean up the river!  There are water play options and a simulated balloon ride.

The Bucks County Children's Museum is the perfect place to spend a morning or afternoon escaping the elements or taking time out after a stroll along the towpath at the Deleware Canal Stare Park.  The town of New Hope has a variety of great food options and the bridge to Lambertville offers more choices.
