Clark Street Bakery Brentwood

Down the street from the Barrington Recreation Center and the Barrington Park is this local coffee shop with great service and friendly staff. It has amazing lattes with alternative milk options and delicious sandwiches such as the turkey pesto and the breakfast sandwich. The best part is the bread is all fresh!

The second best part is there is a single stall bathroom with a changing table, making it very baby-friendly. Due to COVID, it’s only outdoor seating but you can always grab your eats and head to the park or eat at the few tables outside.

Clark Street also lives in a plaza with other goods such as Yogurt Shoppe where they have in-house made frozen yogurt, Starbucks, and El Divino, a cute Italian restaurant great for a proper sit-down lunch or dinner. This plaza has a metered parking lot.

Hannah Menakaya
Hannah Menakaya grew up in New Hampshire, eventually leaving to go to school in DC at Georgetown University. She developed her passion for traveling when she spent a semester abroad in Cape Town, South Africa. While there she explored the beautiful landscape and wildlife of the country and ventured into neighboring countries such as Botswana and Zimbabwe. Upon graduation, Hannah spent a year teaching English in Spain and traveling whenever she could. The highlight of her jet setting career was living on a boat in Mykonos, Greece, and sleeping in the Sahara desert in Morocco. Since then, Hannah landed in Los Angeles where she pursues her ultimate passion - storytelling. While she seeks to tell stories from those in the margins, she finds time to get outside and remember the serenity of nature amidst the Hollywood hustle. Feeling the sand, seeing the birds, and listening to the waves are her ideas of balance and harmony. If you ask her, she’s a professional wellness seeker, smoothie bowl artista and part-mermaid… but according to LinkedIn, she works for the production company that made Queer Eye.
