A Destination Stop in Music City with the Country Music Hall of Fame and Taylor Swift Education Center

This museum is well worth a visit, whether you like country music or not. Featuring fabulous exhibits – including Elvis’ amazing car collection, children can learn about many different artists, explore important pieces of music history, and experience jaw-dropping costumes up close.

There is something wonderful for every age group, but little kids will be extra-wowed by the Taylor Swift Education Center. This element is a wonderful addition and features free summer craft projects and so much more. For an up-to-date schedule with special events such as arts and crafts classes in the Education Center, visit the website and select "Kids."

The museum is downtown amidst all the urban action so it is commonplace for Country Music Hall of Fame visitors to park in one of the paid lots close to the museum, including The Music City Center or the Hilton Hotel.

Adult tickets are a tad pricey at $25.95. As a great alternative for those of us who are planners in the area, tickets are free if membership is "checked out" from the local Nashville library. Again, this does require advance planning because there is typically a waiting list.  It is free for all kids who reside in Davidson and surrounding counties.
