Unique park and play space on the banks of the Cumberland River!
Cumberland Park is a Nashville gem, located just across the river from downtown Nashville, next to the Titan's stadium. Upon entering the park, left of the pedestrian bridge (away from the stadium), there is a green, hilly area made of turf, where kids can climb, slide, and run around. It’s ideal for kids of all ages, including babies as the turf makes for a fun area to crawl or cruise around. There’s also a small bouncy bridge and a maze. This area is located right next to the splash pad, which runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Further into the park, there is a rock-climbing wall, rope-climbing area, and slides. If you look closely, you can find fossils embedded into the wall of the rock-climbing area. This area is next to a large grassy field, amphitheater and paved path. You can follow the paved path and journey down to the Cumberland River. There are a few different areas that allow take you out a mall pier over the water. If you’re feeling adventurous, take the pedestrian bridge across the river and enjoy downtown Nashville.
