Go Biking or Scootering at This Quiet, Lesser Known Greenway!
The Cumberland River Greenway at Crooked Branch Park is a quieter, ~1.5 mile Greenway near the Lakewood and Old Hickory communities of Davidson County. It's 82-acres and includes a 22-acre wetland in the so-called Hadley Bend of the Cumberland River. There is one spot that provides a short walk down to the river; at another spot, you can walk to a small lake to see several ducks from afar.
The paved pathway is fantastic for scootering, biking, strolling, or walking and is a double loop. Stay right with the youngest of bikers as there is a stop sign not too far in as you head towards the river.
