Family-owned Oliviero's is a casual, kid-friendly restaurant offering up sandwiches, pizzas, and ice cream, in addition to other Italian fares. You can eat in the restaurant or, in the summer months, order from the walk-up window and sit at one of the tables outside. It isn't particularly scenic, but there is a large field adjacent to the strip where the restaurant is located so the kids can run around while you wait for your food. Oliviero's is a great place to grab a bite to eat after hiking at nearby Monocacy Hill.
