DiFiore's Ice Cream Delite

120 Shiloh St Pittsburgh, PA 15211

An ice cream shop that also offers soups and sandwiches.

We had the pleasure of visiting DiFiore’s after a ride up the Monongahela Incline. Located on Shiloh Street, directly opposite the incline station, DiFiore’s serves up more than just ice cream. Patrons can also get quick fare like soups and sandwiches for dine-in, to go, or to enjoy on the outdoor patio, located just behind the restaurant.

Our party was delighted to find a wide range of ice cream flavors. (All four of the varieties that we sampled were delicious!). The ice cream was very reasonably priced for the portions and we especially appreciated having a clean, shaded table to enjoy it at. If you’d rather walk and eat, you can also enjoy your scoop while taking in the breathtaking views along Grandview Avenue.

One thing to note: DiFiore’s is CASH ONLY! If you want to enjoy a scoop, be sure to have some on you!
