A special opportunity to witness the making of your treat before you enjoy it.

Dolcezza has eight stores around the Washington Area.  Their gelato is not to be missed!  They make small batches of gelato daily in their Factory and Coffee Lab in the Union Market area. They take ordinary flavors and add ingredients - most of which are grown locally - and they are extraordinary. Their coffee is divine, which is why it is not just called a "Gelato Factory," but also a "Coffee Lab!"

Currently, Dolcezza has shops in Dupont Circle, the Hirshorn Museum, CityCenter, Logan Circle, the Mosaic District in Virginia, and Bethesda Row in Maryland, but here at The Factory families can experience the whole process.

Union Market is adjacent to the factory and shop. The Lane Social Club and Joseph H. Cole Park Playground are also each just five minutes away, as is Joseph H. Cole Park Playground.

Growing up right near the beach, they are happiest when on or near the water, so exploring the rivers, lakes, and streams in the greater DC area is a favorite pastime for their family.
