run

Domino Park is a 6-acre public park in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, running along the East River. It is named for the former Domino Sugar Refinery, where it sits. This newly opened park and its esplanade 1/4 mile provide a scenic spot for a quick stroller run/walk before heading to the playground on-site.

The best place to enter the running path is at Kent Street and South 5th Street.

Renee was born in rural Maine and spent her childhood days playing in the woods and tending to her family's farm animals and large garden. She's spent the last 20 years far from her rural roots, living in large cities both in the US and abroad. Her family -- including her two daughters, age 6 and 10 -- just recently located to Brooklyn, New York after spending two years living abroad in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Renee looks forward to exploring and discovering all of the active, family-friendly activities that Brooklyn has to offer!
