This scenic 71 acre park provides a beautiful view of the Monongahela River valley. The highlight is a hike to a view from Sky Rock, which stands 600 feet above the breathtaking landscape of mountains and trees.
Other features of this beautiful park include a brand new 18 hole disc golf course through the forest, a pavilion perfect for hosting events and team gatherings, plenty of green space for activities and a fantastic Sky Rock playground perfect for young children! Sky Rock playground has multiple slides and jungle gyms! While children play, parents can enjoy one of the gorgeous views that this state park has to offer. There are several trails at Dorsey’s Knob, ranging from simple walks to strenuous climbs.
This park is located right off of I-68, allowing for easy access. It is right near all of the amenities of downtown Morgantown, including great restaurants and many different activities in the city as well!
