Eastwoods Neighborhood Park and Splash Pad is a great spot to cool off on a hot day, play, go for a stroll, or exercise.

The original location of the first Eeyore’s Birthday Party in 1963, Eastwoods Park is tucked away near the University of Texas at Austin, just west of 35 (despite the name). Search for the sculpture of the depressed donkey in commemoration,  just right of the swing set. Check out the other unique sculptures hidden throughout this park, too! As you walk further into the park, you’ll feel like you’re headed into a dense forest, thanks in large part to the Eastwoods Neighborhood Association who has advocated for the pretty green space over the years. This park features a creek with a bridge, three sets of swings and playscapes, tennis court, basketball court, splash pad and 4 barbeque pits.
