Check out Eden Rock Park Playground evenings, weekends, or in the off-season, for hours of family fun!

This playground is a great choice when exploring the Twin Cities SW metro. Keep in mind, it is a school-affiliated park and playground, so it's off-limits during the school day. However, we found it to be a wonderful option for winter play during the evening. Any non-school days, after-hours visits, weekends, and summertime days would be wonderful at this park.

In addition to a baseball field and soccer field, this park offers a playground with new equipment, and plenty of it. There were several large playground structures, so plenty of room to please many kiddos, and kids of different ages and abilities. There was a huge quantity of swings, probably due to it being a school-affiliated park. Other options included several spinning, climbing, and balance structures, in additon to slides and monkey bars. There's also a small lake adjacent to the park, with a trail running through the lakeside wooded area.

We didn't see restrooms available at this park and playground, however this is typical during winter months at Minnesota playgrounds. It's very possible Porto-Potties are brought in from spring through fall at this location, though I can't be certain. Parking was plentiful in the parking lot.

After playing all your sillies out at Eden Lake, head over to nearby Yo-Yo Donuts for a special treat.
