Play and explore with little ones near Hohenwald.

Right at Natchez Trace milepost 391.9 and just north of the US 412 intersection, Fall Hollow Waterfalls is worth a stop if you are in the Hohenwald area. While the trail is short at ~0.3 miles each way, the trail does get a bit slippery if it is wet (flip flops are NOT recommended). The trail and wooden bridges circle you around and down counterclockwise to the main falls and you'll pass a few smaller water features along the way. There is one main overlook with benches if you are with elderly family members that don't feel comfortable going down. If you have kids who enjoy splashing and playing in creeks, there are a few spots to do so on the way down. Once you get to the bottom of the trail, the main falls have a small, shallow pool to splash around in.  This is not a huge waterfall, but it is a small and pretty one that is very accessible.

The parking lot is small, holding about 8-10 cars. There are no bathrooms or facilities.
