A Drive-Through Memorable Lights Display in Upper Marlboro at Watkins Regional Park Will Keep Your Family Safe, but Still in the Holiday Spirit!

Watkins Park in Marlborough, Maryland, puts on an amazing drive-through display of lights during the holiday season. During the day, it is a fun family park with a carousel, mini-golf, and train rides (and a must to check out!). By night, it becomes a holiday wonderland with more than 2.5 million lights throughout the park that visitors can drive through safely and enjoy. The drive-through trail is three miles long, and they have an adorable I Spy Game on their website that you can download and print out for the kids to play while driving through!

Entry is $8 per vehicle online or $10 per vehicle at the gate. These tickets are not timed and can be used at any time from the date of purchase through January 2nd, 2022. The park recommends trying to come at off-peak times (Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday) due to high wait times on weekends after 6:00pm.

They will have a free admission day on December 25th for all Prince George county residents as a thank you for their support with the parks and recreation programs.

The lights run daily from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm.

They will have a new entrance this year and are asking that you please enter along RT. 202/Largo Road. There will be NO ENTRY ACCESS ON RT. 193. YOU WILL CONTINUE TO RT. 202. The entrance will be located across from Riverdale Baptist School.
