This scenic 3.3 loop trail is a beautiful combination of three different trails to create this easy and fun hike. 

A great thing about this hike is the variety of scenic views it provides, from the forest to the marsh, to the water! It keeps definitely keeps it interesting for the littles and there are lots of benches to stop and admire the scenery or have a quick snack. With an elevation gain of only 42 feet, this loop is quite manageable for everyone.

Leashed dogs are allowed, so bring your furry friends with you! It is a fairly popular trail and it is moderately trafficked.  Be sure to check the weather as it can be quite muddy if it has rained in the past day and you might want to wear boots or save it for a drier day! This trail is also great in the winter with snow on the ground and provides a different experience. 

The best way to track this loop is through Alltrails, because it is a combination of Fox Run, Long Creek, Kingfisher, and the Cape Henry Loop Trail. All of these trails separately offer great views and different levels of difficulty. For example, if you were to only stay on the Cape Henry Trail, the main trail through the center of the park, it would go for about 6 miles. There are lots of signs though and with just a little bit of prior planning you can map out exactly how far and where you would like to go!
