Founding Farmers has quickly become a DC metro area favorite for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

The restaurant is farm to table with beautiful, modern and interesting design. It's a very friendly environment with food options across a wide spectrum, from eggs and waffles for breakfast to interesting pasta, sandwiches, and meat dishes for lunch and dinner.

While they do not have a traditional kids menu, they offer flexibility in providing kid-friendly options. In the words of the company, "We have many “kid-approved” items on our regular menus, and our service team is happy to help you choose the best item for the children in your party."

Farragut West Station is only a few blocks away and the orange and blue lines stop there. The National Geographic Museum is a 15-minute walk away and is a great place to spend a morning with older kids.
