Foxtrot is a creative concept that is the perfect addition to the Georgetown business landscape.

We are so excited to have Foxtrot Market in DC. You may have heard of them as they have locations in Chicago and Dallas. Their Georgetown location is beautiful and a whole vibe in and of itself. We felt cool just walking in! Their boutique corner store market has everything we love; a coffee shop, grocery essentials, unique gifts, and a large grab-and-go section with kid-friendly options.

We ordered coffee, hot chocolate and donuts (they sell District Donuts) to enjoy outside at their tables (they have indoor and outdoor seating available). They do have a whole menu to choose from with lots of great options. After we finished our coffee and hot chocolate, we headed back inside to check out their grab-and-go section. We picked a few items to go (the cucumber, mango and jimaca slaw was delish!) and headed down to the Georgetown Waterfront Park. We found a great spot under a tree for an impromptu picnic. It was so nice to be outdoors, hanging out in the park soaking up the sunshine.

If you are looking for an easy day with little planning, look no further, than Foxtrot and The Georgetown Waterfront Park. There is something for everyone to eat at Foxtrot and the Waterfront is a short 5-minute walk. Have more time and looking to enjoy a few other activities in the area? We suggest taking a walk up to Dumbarton Park (we love the trails behind Dumbarton Gardens) or let the kids play at Montrose Park adjacent to Dumbarton. Both spots are under a 10-minute walk from Foxtrot.
