This kid-friendly favorite in Kensington keeps it simple, and does it so well!

With only a small kitchen to work with, this dine in pizza place only serves a couple simple appetizers and desserts in addition to the pizza options. That being said, it's still hard to make a decision with the pizza selection available. The toppings are high quality and housemade, they provide table service, a bar area, and serve beer and wine.

You can expect a wait at certain times, however between the simplicity of the menu and the "regulars" vibe, diners move quickly overall. The decor is rustic and the setting is cozy and inviting. There are tables outside, and it's the kind of place where you expect to see a familiar face at any moment, whether or not you live in the neighborhood.

The pizzas are 11 inches and are meant to serve one, but that depends on your appetite. Frankly...Pizza! offers a vegan option, as well as gluten free crust, but it is limited so you are encouraged to reserve the GF dough 24 hours in advance.

If you have some time to kill, grab your pizza and drive over to Cabin John Regional Park. The park is beautiful and has a playground that kids always enjoy. You can also start an afternoon hiking there if you are so inclined. Pinstripes Bowling is also about fifteen minutes away in a car and is a great place to spend an afternoon thats especially hot or rainy.
