There is often a line out the door teeming with kids so prepare to wait. Better for older kids as it’s a busy street and can be stressful with toddlers and little kids.

Check out Volta Park after you enjoy your treat. It has two playgrounds and a pool for your kiddos to enjoy. If you're looking for a meal there are too many options to count in Georgetown! If you want a fancier, sit-down option, Filomena is only a few blocks away and does a great job of being upscale but providing reasonable options for kids. Sweetgreen is also super close and provides a faster, cheaper option that's great for picnics at the park. If it's raining or too hot to be outside, Pinstripe Bowling is right down the road and is always a good time. Georgetown Neighborhood Library is also only ten minutes walk and is a great place to get out ot the heat! Caitlin Iseler, happyly founder and CEO, was born in New York and is one of eight children. Her favorite holiday is Thanksgiving and the chance to sit at one table with her favorite 40 people. Caitlin, her outdoor loving husband, Thomas, and daughter, Hanah, live in Virginia Beach. She is also blessed to be a bonus mom to 2 incredible humans, Max & Elizabeth. Being a mom has always been something she dreamt of and it brings her joy beyond measure. Before starting happyly, Caitlin spent 15 years working in executive search with technology companies, most recently with Korn Ferry. In what seems like a lifetime ago, she attended the University of Virginia and was a member of the National & ACC Championship Teams, a gift that keeps giving.
