A Fun All-Season Natural Wonder.

Granite Hot Springs is an outstandingly fun, can't-miss, family-friendly destination in the Jackson area. The location is fantastic, nestled into Jackson's gorgeous landscape, and the rustic facilities are absolutely charming – don't forget to bring cash though as they do not accept credit card payments. The outdoor "pool" is filled by the granite hot springs and is warmer closer to the source and cooler on the other sides of the pool.

It's big enough to accommodate large groups and even has a shallow end for young kids as well as a few fun climbing structures. If you're looking to make a day of it, pack a picnic and explore the site's great hiking access. (As times and access vary, we suggest checking out the website in advance.) Changing rooms are available onsite, as are porta-potty-like restrooms.

The Springs are open in the coldest and warmest months. The mid-year session usually opens in Mid-May and closes in early November. In the spring, make sure to call ahead to confirm they are open, as late snow melt-off can delay the road opening – sometimes up to two weeks. Operating hours during the summer are 10 am-8 pm.

The alternate season tends to open in early December and runs through March. Operating hours are 10 am-4 pm daily until mid-February when it stays open an hour later. During these months, the hot springs are accessible only via snowmobile, dog sled, skiing, and fat biking.
