What began as a roadside fruit stand has turned into one of the most popular spots in Crozet, Greenwood Gourmet Grocery.

Located at 6701 Rockfish Gap Turnpike in Crozet, this place is a gem. You can stock up on wine and specialty groceries, really everything you’ll need for a Misty Mountain stay.

Located on Route 250 in western Albemarle County, about a half-mile west of Interstate 64, exit 107

This grocery and counter-order restaurant offers trusted local farmers and growers and also has a curated selection of goods and foods from worldwide sources. There is a made-to-order sandwich bar, a massive selection of wine and beer, and coffee and freshly baked goods just to name a few of the delicious options.

At the moment, Greenwood Gourmet Grocery is only offering curbside pickup, but online ordering is available for many items and their new website makes it easy to see what is available. Their very friendly staff will come out to your car and give you your items so you do not have to go inside. While you cannot dine inside, there are tables adjacent to the store where you can sit and eat if you choose. Otherwise, take your goods to go and have a picnic if the weather is nice.

The fresh, local ingredients, delicious sandwiches, and variety of options keep locals and visitors always coming back for more!

Check the curbside website to see what they have to offer for pickup that day as it is always changing. We recommend any sweet treats they have available! They have a lot of gourmet chocolate, rock candy, oatmeal creme pies, amazing pints of small-batch ice cream, and great ice cream sandwiches. (Jeni's Ice cream pints are especially good and have different flavors). They also have fresh baked pastries and goods daily.

As a family, they spent many years growing up going on camping trips, skiing, rafting, and traveling together. While Natalie loves the seasonal lifestyle in Jackson, she was ready to become a part of something bigger and challenge herself.
