Hellericks is a fun family farm in Doylestown!

Anxious to rush the autumn I headed for one of the only farms with weekday hours in September.  With a toddler in tow, I found a charming farm open for a longer period, indeed accurately named "Adventure Farm."  There were old tractors to climb, tires repurposed for climbing structures, an oversized sandbox filled with pails and shovels and tire rolling. 

The under-five playgrounds had a wooden tractor to climb, a tunnel maze, tricycles, a balance beam and a wonderful pots and pans band.  Another play area boasted a spider web for climbing and a shed filled with dried corn (sensory experience extraordinaire!!). There were goats and bunnies, a corn maze, hayrides out to the pumpkin fields, big kid slides and tunnels and more, well worth the entrance fee! 

A few picnic tables are scattered around the property and on weekends they sell food. Beautiful pumpkins and seasonal decorations were for sale as you enter and exit the farm. Porta potties were available throughout the farm. We spent two full hours and could have easily spent more.  Although neither one of us was "age-appropriate" for the aerial adventure, having older grandchildren, I can assure you it would be a major hit.  Looking forward to a return visit soon perhaps with some tweens and teens to try the ropes course.
