Hiking Trails and Nature Center with weekly activities for families and kids.

A lovely outdoor adventure awaits for people of all ages at Hemlock Crossings!

Family-friendly hikes are abundant in West Michigan and we are lucky to have some of the most beautiful trails around. Hemlock Crossings County Park is one of those places. Sitting along the Pigeon River in West Olive, Hemlock Crossings has 239 acres of woods and wetlands filled with year-round groomed trails for hiking, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing in the winter. With a kayak launch and kayak rentals available in the summer, it's easy to spend the day on the river that winds into Pigeon Lake, ultimately leading to the great lake, Lake Michigan.

Hemlock hosts kid-friendly activities all year long, including un-haunted hikes for kids in their Halloween costumes, visits with Santa, and weekly activities and classes for the community. The County Park not only has activities outdoors, but Hemlock Crossings is home to a beautiful Nature Center. The building boasts an observation room for kids to watch real live wildlife, and also participate in hands-on learning about these animals and their habitat.

Hemlock Crossings County Park is one of the best places along the lakeshore of West Michigan to get the family outside and exploring the outdoors together.
